This school project focused on designing a digital product for Uno-X to replace its physical customer card and support future business needs. Uno-X is a large fuel station chain operating in Denmark and Norway, known for fast fueling, low prices, and simple station setups.
The project explored how a digital loyalty product could strengthen retention while staying true to Uno-X’s core values of simplicity and efficiency.

Uno-X faced a shift from physical to digital customer relationships. The challenge was to design a product that could replace the physical loyalty card without slowing down the fueling experience.
The product needed to be easy to adopt, work across markets, and support both user needs and business goals such as retention and insight into customer behavior. A key challenge was avoiding feature overload while still creating clear value for frequent users.

The solution was a mobile-first digital loyalty product designed around speed and minimal interaction. The product allowed users to identify themselves digitally, fuel, pay, and automatically collect loyalty benefits without extra steps.
From a product design perspective, the focus was on:

Reduced friction through fewer interactions and simple flows
A scalable product structure that could support fuel, car wash, and EV charging
Built-in data touchpoints to support future personalization and marketing
The product concept balanced user convenience with Uno-X’s need for a cost-efficient and scalable digital solution.
